HOLLYWOOD HITS OUR HOME TOWN!
LOCALS SOUGHT TO FILL NUMEROUS BACKGROUND ROLES
by John Marshall
It has been confirmed by the Maple Grove Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) that a film and TV production company, Kitchen Session Pictures, will be using the city of Maple Grove for a backdrop of its incoming TV series and feature length film.
“This is great news for our town,” Mayor Declan McGrady told The Examiner. “This TV and film company will bring a lot of tax revenue to our little city by the water. They are planning to be here for at least fifteen weeks. That is going to be very lucrative for most of us.”
When asked to elaborate what he meant by "most of us", Mayor McGrady abruptly ended the interview.

The production company Kitchen Session Pictures will be in Maple Grove for the foreseeable future shooting the first season of a TV series as well as a full length feature movie. Pictured above are three posters from the company’s recent productions entitled Gone in a Flash, Traeger's Day, Today Is Now, Waiting For Tracy, Overdrawn at The Bank and The Meeting.

KEEP THIS UNDER WRAPS BUT I AM BEING CONSIDERED FOR 3 ROLES IN THE MOVIE BEING SHOT IN TOWN!
You know me, Faithful Reader, I’m the guy who has been covering all things entertainment in Maple Grove for the last two decades. I’ve been your go-to guy on TV and radio telling you all what you should spend your free time watching and listening to, getting the best scoops and celebrity interviews as possible and keeping you up on the most current trends and fads.
But with the production company in town to shoot a TV series and movie, I am very close to becoming part of the cast as, you guessed it, a handsome and charismatic newsman! I'm also in consideration for Acerbic Town Council Stenographer and Pedantic Barfly 3.
